KOA's have different amenities based on type of campgrounds. ⁠ ⁠ Pro's:⁠ ◾ 10% discount on nightly rates⁠ ◾ Free camping on appreciation weekends⁠ ◾ Earn free nights with points⁠ ◾ Website is easy to use ⁠ ◾ Some locations have full restaurants on site⁠ ◾ Family friendly campgrounds⁠ ⁠ Con's:⁠ ◾ Can be pricey⁠ ◾ Some locations are run down⁠ ⁠ We use KOAs frequent enough that the membership is paid for with the points earned plus additional free nights. Our favorite KOA is in Tuscon.
