Comparing NYC Skyscraper Observatories

NYC skyscrapers worth visiting 👏 🗂️| Save this for your next NYC adventure! Is it worth paying to go to one of the skyscrapers in NYC and if so, which one should you choose? In this post I’ll compare Top of the Rock, SUMMIT One and The Edge + I hope it helps make your decision easier. 🏙️ TOP OF THE ROCK PROS: Top of the Rock is a classic! It’s centrally located and offers stunning views of both Central Park + Lower Manhattan. CONS: It’s much smaller than the others and space is limited. It takes a while to get up and down, the process is very slow… 🐌 🏙️ SUMMIT ONE PROS: In my opinion, SUMMIT offers the best and most diverse views (it’s a three-level multisensory art immersion 😍). If I only had time to visit one skyscraper, this would be it! 
CONS: It gets extremely crowded, so be strategic when planning your visit! Go in the middle of the week if you can (early - as in get there at least a half hour before it opens to wait in line) because otherwise it will be very crowded and that takes away from the experience. 🏙️ THE EDGE PROS: The Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere 😱. The feeling of floating in the sky with 360-degree views for sure makes it a unique experience! CONS: Similarly to Top of the Rock, the space here seemed limited. I went a few years ago (2021?) and we had to wait in a long line to stand at ‘the edge’, only to be allowed a min or two - yes there was someone working there with a timer 😅 to look out and take a photo. Honestly wasn’t the most enjoyable experience in my opinion! Here is the order in which I would rank/visit these skyscrapers: SUMMIT One Top of the Rock The Edge
