Vultures in the Neighborhood

Today’s #naturestudy in the neighborhood brought to you by the committee of vultures that we watch for daily. Sometimes to be found basking up on neighbors’ roofs, wings spread, a la creepy haunted house... most recently heard settling into the woods by our house at dusk, wings hitting against trees very noisily. I must say they used to gross me out... but the more we learn about them, they’re pretty cool. And they get rid of the roadkill for us... but we look for that too... soo... ;)
