Travel Teaches Kids to Be Brave
Reason to travel number 43,294. ✈️🌍🚙
It’s a sad truth. But we are afraid.
Nervous. A bit on edge.
And the kids see it.
They hear it from friends or the news or
Hear your “grown up” conversations.
If mom and dad show them how to…
😢Live in fear? They fear.
😢Worry out loud? They internalize.
😢Hesitate? They hesitate.
Here’s my #1 life tip: Travel!
(Other than quit wrapping them in
those
little
bubbles
you try to create… That’s another soap box….)
Let them see that
👉Your faith is bigger than your fear.
👉People who are different than them aren’t be scary.
👉They can be brave and independent and do difficult things.
👉The big world is full of amazing people and cultures and cities.
👉Even the “poorest” places have the best (and happiest!) people.
👉You can take steps to protect yourself… and just keep on exploring.
👉The parents can make wise choices to prevent… but still not fear the unknown.
