Kid Plays Call of Duty in Spanish

So did I win or did I fail? šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø My homeschool kid ā€œfinishedā€ his 9th grade work for the day (which I didnā€™t check as I should have)ā€¦ Got online to play Call of Dutyā€¦ And spoke some Spanish to the kid he was playing on the headsets. Yep. āœ…Socializing, strategizing, āœ…And using those foreign language skills heā€™s learned on @duolingo ! (Including some new army related vocab in Spanish that Iā€™ve never been asked before but canā€™t type herešŸ¤Ŗ) But he didnā€™t argue about this language lesson. šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ ā“So win or lose? ā“Unschool mom win for the week? So yes, while I usually am annoyed by my kids playing video games (Because thatā€™s not what ā€œgoodā€ homeschoolers doā€¦) Today, Iā€™m rethinking my position. But donā€™t worry. Tomorrow the youā€™re-not-doing-enough homeschool mom guilt will return. Let me have this one. ā¤ļø [Video of the kid rock wall climbing bc thatā€™s way more exciting that watching him play a video game. Pretty sure he grows a lot more in confidence with scaling a wall than all the math tests in the world. šŸ˜‰šŸ˜‰šŸ˜‰] šŸ‘‰šŸ‘‰Tell me what sneaky learning you saw today! It totally counts. . . . .
