Kid Plays Call of Duty in Spanish
So did I win or did I fail? š¤·āāļø
My homeschool kid āfinishedā his 9th grade work for the day (which I didnāt check as I should have)ā¦
Got online to play Call of Dutyā¦
And spoke some Spanish to the kid he was playing on the headsets.
Yep.
ā
Socializing, strategizing,
ā
And using those foreign language skills heās learned on @duolingo !
(Including some new army related vocab in Spanish that Iāve never been asked before but canāt type hereš¤Ŗ)
But he didnāt argue about this language lesson. š¤£š¤£š¤£
āSo win or lose?
āUnschool mom win for the week?
So yes, while I usually am annoyed by my kids playing video games
(Because thatās not what āgoodā homeschoolers doā¦)
Today, Iām rethinking my position.
But donāt worry.
Tomorrow the youāre-not-doing-enough homeschool mom guilt will return.
Let me have this one. ā¤ļø
[Video of the kid rock wall climbing bc thatās way more exciting that watching him play a video game. Pretty sure he grows a lot more in confidence with scaling a wall than all the math tests in the world. ššš]
ššTell me what sneaky learning you saw today! It totally counts.
