Summer Homeschooling: Relaxed Learning Adventures
Flexibility. Our number one reason to homeschool. That and ✈️🚙🗺️. Let’s go!
Summer is when we…
🌞“Catch-up” on math lessons after crazy co-op and activities have stopped.
🌞Learn through national parks and museums and travel skills.
🌞Relax and read for hours in the hammock.
🌞Play board games on the front porch.
🌞Spend lots of time with family and friends around the US.
🤣… Have workbooks due to complaints of “boredom”.
Essentially, it’s taking our relaxed homeschool and making it even more relaxed while spending more than a month away from home.
And probably taking math books with us. ✖️➗➕
❤️But exploring our world always wins. It’s how we travel 1000s of miles every summer!
May this summer allow you time to pull back and see all the learning happening without any “real school” taking place. If in doubt, pull out your planner and write down their projects and books and shows and skills… It’s a learning life!
👉👉Feeling frustrated with summer learning? Go see how my homeschool adventure friends “school” during the summer (or don’t 😉).
