Shakespeare Fun with the Book Club Kids

Our Essentials book club today. Eighteen kids having a blast talking about Shakespeare, MacBeth, and the Tempest. . They went on a book scavenger hunt, make blood, matched Shakespeare idioms... and made their own play with sound effects. Of course, the boy group involved plane wrecks, tiger mauling, and my son surviving in a cave to then eat the tigers complete with a giant spoon in his hand. Boys would... . Boys. Enjoying their Shakespeare. These same boys who I had just found out in the forest stirring a pot of mud chanting “Double, double, toil and trouble...” . We love our learning tribe. Then again, it’s the third day we’ve spent with some of them out of a five day week. They’re just our life tribe ;) . .
