Family Museum Visit: Exploring Art Together

The #georgiamuseumofart is free, and on the weekends you don’t have to pay to park! Our first visit won’t be our last. . It’s small but packs in a lot. I admit I usually walk around and look for the artists I know... there aren’t a lot of those here although I did see Cassatt, Renoir, Rubens, and Rivera. . However, the more we look at art at home... We see the similarities and the kids point them out in museums. “That one looks like Picasso” or “It looks like that one... You know...” and the smaller museums become more. And it’s good. we might have even kind of enjoyed a modern art or two today... at least slightly more than the big negatives before ;) . Frank Lloyd Wright was introduced today. And it just so happens that I just ordered Mary Cassatt prints for art study. Score.
