Reconciling Faith and Science: A Christian Parent's Perspective
“The Bible is not an authority about the facts of modern science. It was never meant to be. The Bible is telling a different story. The Bible gives us the answers to the who and why of creation; science answers the how and when… Evolution does not diminish God as creator and sustainer of all there is. Nothing about evolution excludes God as the one in whom we ‘live and move and have our being.’”

It’s hard being a Christian homeschooler and being different. I admit, putting this book out here makes me nervous because I’ll hear about it from well-meaning people who want to guide me to their truth. But as I keep referencing it in real life, I feel more people need to know about it because I know I’m not the only one who needs this book. You are not alone.
.
I’m still reading and listening and learning on my own. You can’t have open discussions with your kids if Mom and Dad haven’t wrestled and read on their own. I’m wanting to raise thinkers who have looked at both sides and come to their own conclusions while loving Jesus.

This book is for you
💡who need to know you aren’t alone in mixing faith and science
💡who think I’m wrong - because you need to read the other side of the story
💡for all of us parents who worry that our super-literal children will turn away from the Church because they can’t reconcile the two.

Jesus is still Jesus whether God made the world in seven days or not. ❤️
