Reclaiming Wonders
Two young boys, likely brothers, are sitting on a brown leather couch in what appears to be a living room. They are engaged in playing a board game called 'Codenames' which is laid out on a coffee table in front of them. The game consists of various word cards spread out, along with a tray of red and blue agent cards. One boy, wearing a gray New York t-shirt, is holding a pink bag or case, likely containing game pieces. The other boy, in a gray shirt, is smiling and appears to be enjoying the game. There is a stuffed animal toy on the couch next to them, adding a cozy and playful atmosphere.

Playing Codenames Board Game

Game of the day: Codenames. . While really a game for bigger kids and more people, this is a great thinking game. The goal is to get your team to pick the words on your list without picking the other words. While you are supposed to compete against another team, we modified it to just play cooperatively. . I also learned my kid has a problem with homophones and actually reading the word. It definitely brought some giggles when we figured out why I didn’t get “pin” from pencil and writing. 🤦🏼‍♀️ . I can see this game being great for families with teenagers and college kids especially. I’ve been drilling over the DIsney themed one for awhile, and it looks like there’s an online version. Going to have to remember this is we have to quarantine again!
