Exploring Alma Mater with Kids

Is college denial a thing? Can I just refuse to remember that my oldest kid is only five years away? . . Two of my kids have both made statements lately about how they’re going to ACU like we did, but I think that’s because they just don’t know any other colleges. I guess I have to add colleges to our travel list. Or just let them apply to one college like I did? That would be easier 😂 . . The kids scootered their way around my alma mater and saw more of it than they had seen before. Students are gone. Buildings are locked. I’m still calling it half credit for visiting. . . Do I need to make visiting colleges a thing? Be intentional and pick a few? Or just chill and keep on denying? Ug. Either way, touring Abilene Christian twenty years later was a good day.
