Nature Adventure: Paynes Prairie Exploration

The meandering trip home started at Paynes Prairie north of Orlando where the promise of alligators, wild horse, and bison didn't pan out. We walked through the woods, did some nature observing, and played at the park after our picnic though. The prairie is an aquifer/ basin that fills. Dry today though. Migrating place for the Sandhills cranes... Which we didn't see either... Heading north...
