Math Games with Everyday Objects

Today’s prompt: manipulatives. @wilkinsonnest for #buildingournest While we don’t have a specific math curriculum we stick with consistently, we have lots of everyday objects we use for math and learning. . . My purse always has a deck of cards and 6 sided dice and 12 sided dice for games. They come out regularly and give us plenty to learn when waiting for choir or haircuts or anything. . . Addition war. Multiplication war. Greater than, less than. Matching to ten. Memory. Trash. Clock game. Lots. . . Not in the purse: super cute counting bears, cusinaire rods, geo boards, pretend money, beans, play dough. Anything can be used with a bit of creativity. Add in a hundreds board and the options go up more!
