Math Games with Everyday Objects
Today’s prompt: manipulatives. @wilkinsonnest for #buildingournest While we don’t have a specific math curriculum we stick with consistently, we have lots of everyday objects we use for math and learning.

My purse always has a deck of cards and 6 sided dice and 12 sided dice for games. They come out regularly and give us plenty to learn when waiting for choir or haircuts or anything.

Addition war. Multiplication war. Greater than, less than. Matching to ten. Memory. Trash. Clock game. Lots.

Not in the purse: super cute counting bears, cusinaire rods, geo boards, pretend money, beans, play dough. Anything can be used with a bit of creativity. Add in a hundreds board and the options go up more!
