Kids Bonding with Zoo Animals

That little four year old hand just kept asking the orangutan zookeeper questions today. They all did. The education team was out in full force today at #zooatlanta just waiting to answer questions... and ask we did. Thank you! Reptile house? Rescuing baby terrapins, turtle vs tortoise. Lions? Brother triplet lions. And the orangutans? Fifteen minutes of questions! Did you know that they are estimated to be extinct in the wild in 25-50 years because of cutting down their trees for cheap palm oil?!! Don’t let zoo staff be bored because you don’t want to take the time. Learn! They declared this one of the best zoo days ever. And it started out rainy and chilly... yet they’d didn’t even mention the weather.
