Homeschool Map Sparks Travel Dreams and Discussions

My favorite kid arguments? The ones that show me my plan is working! 🗺️🧭🚙 The know their world and have fabulous memories exploring it. Maps bring arguments. But good ones. 🏡Debate whether it was Frederick Douglass or Booker T. Washington’s House. 🏜️Figuring out if it was a Great Sand Dunes or White Sands in a Colorado. 🌳Bringing their homeschool learning over into a family travel wish list. 🚙Following our road trip paths across states. 🥳Scheming how to get firm Georgia to see all the beauty on the west coast. These kids of mine have a lot of travel plans! Because we’ve made geography real through photos and going and culture discussions. And now we have a detailed US map showing states, cities, and national parks. ✅Green pin means we’ve been. ☑️White pin means gotta go. I love having maps where we eat and study. It’s brings up so many discussions and dreams and ties in with so much that we study. Thanks @holycowcanvasart for this awesome map through your giveaway. It’s a beautiful addition to our homeschool life! Did y’all notice how it’s personalize for our name? I even got to pick out that awesome Tolkien quote (nerd!🤓). 👉Save this do remember to get yourself one.. or your friend… or you could even get me a world map. 😉 . . . . . @holycowcanvasart
