Reclaiming Wonders
A handwritten Venn diagram comparing and contrasting various animals and creatures is sketched on a sheet of paper. The two overlapping circles are labeled with characteristics such as 'horns', 'bleed', 'stripes or spots', 'bigger', 'hooves', and 'multi-colored'. The intersecting region lists traits like 'animal', 'hair', and 'wish flag/egg layer'. The title 'Venn Diagram' is written at the bottom of the paper, which is surrounded by open books, a binder, and colored pencils or markers on a wooden surface. This visual aid appears to be part of a hands-on, educational activity or lesson plan, potentially related to biology or comparative analysis.

Hands-on Venn Diagram Math Lesson with Animals

Family math. We already do morning time all together, so it sounded like a good possibility for add ins. So out came a Venn diagram. Mix it in with animals... and they loved it. Zebras vs lions. And then unicorns vs dragons - with a little Harry Potter facts thrown in. They loved it. And it helped to break up the reading. Didnā€™t even have to crack a text book. Score!
