Focused Boy Cracking Pecans

This kid who focuses on one thing at a time. And wants to fully deep dive. On. His. Own. . Today it became gathering and cracking pecans with Pop. For hours. We left and he said, “Do you know how many pecans I could have done since we’ve been here?” 😉 . Hyper-focus #2? His family tree he created. He went around at Christmas showing everyone the tree he was working on. Now he’s moved on to Ancestry and is learning all about that. . Just sit back and relax watch. Since it’s a mind game with him, I just have to let him on his own with minimal help. If I help, it’s almost like I ruin it for him. But it totally counts as life learning! . Thanks to all of the adults in our lives who pour in and let him ask questions! ❤️
