Fishing Adventure with Dad at Earthquake Lake

Yesterday's was big kid day with Dad for fishing at Earthquake Lake while Mom stayed home with little kids. Three hour naps convinced me that try truly did need a rest. And I did well with some quiet reading time ;) Only one fish was caught but they were gone eight hours so a good time was had. I got reports about the bald eagles they saw, how the reservoir works, the formation of the lake as a result of an earthquake, the possible underwater earthquake that caused sudden waves, and the excitement of the large brown creature that darted in front of the car driving home - Greg swears it was a grizzly bear! Here's to Daddy embracing the ever present learning opportunities- he does love this #homeschool life!
