Family Portrait at Boone Plantation

Boone Plantation for the win! . . The trees lining the front are famous on their own. The house has been used in movies, so to me, this is Allie’s house in The Notebook ;) . . Coop’s favorite part was riding the tractor around the grounds and learning about the farming practices still in use —- 300 years after starting. The longest still running plantation in the US. . . We talked to such amazing people who were more than willing to answer questions. A good - super hot and sweaty - morning for all involved. Especially when the trip ended with exploring a 600 year old living oak tree and eating ice cream. Priorities ;)
