Family Homemade Thanksgiving Feast

It’s a year for firsts afterall - here’s to the first year in 17 years of marriage where we stayed at home and cooked our own Thanksgiving! It was a full family effort with Dad brining and roasting a turkey breast; girls making pies and green bean casserole; H helping with homemade rolls; C in charge of macaroni; and Mom with stuffing, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy. . . We cooked at our leisure and wore our PJs and relaxed the day away. Not too bad! . . Happy Thanksgiving from us. This year’s been a stinker but so many blessings have come as well. Here’s to a slow paced holiday with loved ones. That’s all that matters.
