Reclaiming Wonders
A lively group of children and adults, seemingly engaged in a playful outdoor activity. Several young children are joyfully splashing in a shallow puddle or pool of water using ladles and jars, their faces beaming with excitement. Surrounding them are older children and adults, some cheering them on and others observing with amused expressions. The scene exudes a sense of carefree fun and community, where individuals of different ages seamlessly intermingle and share in the simple pleasures of childhood play. The casual attire, including t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers, adds to the relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Joyful Community Play

This is community. . . When the kindergartener and the 7th grader can play a game together beautifully... and none of them think anything about it. . When that doesn’t keep them from knowing each other’s names. When they cheer on everyone... no matter what. When no one declared something was unfair or fussed or yelled at each other to hurry up... . . Because it’s having fun. And that they did. Ladles and water and a glass jar. It’s was lovely. . . Homeschooling is hard enough. Find your people and love each other. I can’t imagine it any other way.
