Family Camping Adventure

I think I heard once that families who camp together are closer… Did I make that up? . We just got back from two days in the Georgia woods and it was a great rest —- good when it wasn’t work. . We explored in nature, swung in hammocks, cuddled in the tent, frolicked with dogs, ate the s’mores… . But it’s work. I love looking at everyone’s peaceful camping pictures. Then you’re in the middle of packing and scrubbing over a fire pit and trekking to the bathhouse - and asking is it worth it? My answer? Yes. . And even if it isn’t a real statistic, I think it fits. Camping pushes you out of your zone and causes fussing and complaining, but you’re together and relaxing and away from distractions. . . So here’s to forgetting the pains of camping until next time. And I’m all ears on all the camping tips to make me not become a camping monster as we pack up or scrub up or unpack… Or all the other times between 😂 . . Thanks @jessica.alimena for letting me a sleep a bit better. Cot for the win!
