Exploring the World Through Homeschool Geography

Geography is our best subject - a top favorite at least 😉. Our most recent addition to morning time is each kid (and Mom) picks three countries to pray for, usually about coronavirus and whatever other facts they can think of. It gets all the kids to say a prayer instead of just listening to mom, practices our locations as each country gets marked on the map, and has us thinking about other countries everyday. And we put a mark on it, so they make sure all countries are covered in prayer. . And Amazing Race! All episodes are on Prime, and I think the kids plan on watching all of them. Their love of geography has soared since we started two months ago! And... Geography is part of our lives. CC gets us tracing and memorizing countries. Seterra is a great geography game. We’ve taken up geocaching and explore everywhere. Turn on our car GPS so the kids can see where they’re going. And travel! . No curriculum here. Use what you w got —- especially if it’s as classy as my plastic shower curtain map ;) . It might just be one of my best homeschool ideas ever.
