Exploring Kansas City with Kids

Don’t you love a good walking city? We walked all over Kansas City with our friends from Union Station to Crown Center to the Money Museum and WW1 Memorial. And had some firsts with the streetcar taking up back to the Market. . . KC has more working fountains than Rome, but this City of Fountains didn’t show me many. They need an app for that! We did make sure to tell our when we saw one and even get fellow bus riders to do it too 🤣 . . The kids all got their bags of shredded money to treasure and watch the people working behind the scenes with the cash sorting (no pics allowed 😢- safety and al) and learned about the federal reserve. It sparked lots of good questions - and future study for home. Or homeschool group presentation 😂 Free museum! . . We wandered all over and found lots of free adventures to have. Much more than we can do in one day. These kids were troopers - and several even wore their train hats from Fritz’s burgers all over town. . . Thanks @hharvey01 for playing with us! I hope it’s just the first of many explorations!
