Reclaiming Wonders
Two young children, a boy and a girl, are playing with large, colorful plastic building blocks in a room with gray walls and carpeted floors. The blocks are arranged in various shapes and structures, including a towering central pile made up of a vibrant assortment of colors like blue, green, yellow, and red. The boy is crouched down beside the central structure, appearing to be adding or removing blocks. The girl is standing next to a shorter stack of blocks in a similar array of colors, potentially building her own creation. The scene exudes a sense of imaginative play and creativity.

Tiring Day with Energetic Kids

Yesterday we went back to the #sciencemuseumoklahoma for some run around play time... again... Today, we missed run around time. And they’re insane tonight. In my typical pessimism, these yelling days are the ones I remember instead of the mostly good days. Ironically, it’s not that they aren’t getting along. It’s Mom who has had too much. Overly silly and giggling and loud playing doesn’t work in restaurants and walking through hotels. When Mom needs to go hide... I’ve given them all melatonin... don’t judge... Some nights I wish I drank alcohol ;)
