Embracing Unexpected Paths

Imagine. Put down your preconceived notions of what your life should look like. The expectations… Society. Family. Yourself. . This young family had no idea that 13 years later, this life would look as it does. I had just finished grueling years of PA school, started a new job with full-time work life planned. Two careers. Busy. Day care baby. . That was just my assumption of what life “should look like.” Honestly, I felt bad for homeschoolers and never understood why a parent would choose to stay home. . I never stopped to question. Or dream. Or imagine it could be different. . Now we have four kids at home with mom not working, and we can’t imagine how we ever lived that other life. Those were different kids. We never dared to dream bigger. We thought that life was our big dream. . All we have to do is ask. And trust that His way is bigger and better. Thankful. . “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…” Ephesians 3:20 .
