Don't Limit Kids or Yourself - Let Them Thrive
Here’s my pet peeve when it comes to parents. Or teachers. Or anyone who interacts with kids…
👉Telling kids they can’t do something. Limiting them. Or, even if not saying it, relay limitations through doubt.
🤩Those awesome kids can do so much more if you just let them do it.
Every year in our homeschool group (@classical_conversations ), the 4-6th graders work on writing through @iew and present their final paper in front of a crowd of paper.
💪Lots have it memorized.
💪Lots have grown a ton.
💪Lots of courage is shown.
The lesson?
💡If Mom says she doesn’t think they can do it, they won’t.
💡If their teacher doesn’t challenge them, they can’t rise above.
💡If society limits them because they’re “only kids”, they’ll never see just how much they can do.
💡If mom freaks out at the assignment, they’ll think there’s something to freak out about.
Same thing goes with you, Mom.
❤️Don’t limit yourself either. And surround yourself with people who push you!
If you’re a CC mom nervous about what the next year brings, don’t be! Those homeschool kids can do even more.
👉Send this to your favorite people who push you and yours kids to be your best!
