Autumn Spider's Reminder

See my friend? It seems he’s an Arrowhead Orbweaver. Red spider with Ana awesome yellow triangle on his back. Because my God makes triangles because He can And because it’s awesome. This little arthropod made my morning before class Better. He was the reminder I needed. Silly and insignificant as it seems. He made me slow down and look. Reminded me that I have a four year old who watches, observes, and automatically starts telling me everything that he notices. Wants me to go look it up. Because it’s what I have taught him to do. That big brother excitedly brought in a huge mushroom to his sister because he knows she loves them. Because he took out the recycling and, like me, got sucked into his beautiful outside home. Looked at details. Stopped down to find the perfect one with “crystals” underneath. And thought of other people’s delight. The leaves are falling. The kids are excited about this new change in seasons and their new rakes to fight over. It’s the little things that make the big things. I have to focus on these joys and stop the comparisons. Sucks my joy right out. More bugs and fewer people maybe? ;) AKA don’t tak to me after a #classicalconversations Day. I’m all peopled out. Introvert life.
