Dinosaur Museum Visit with Kids

When the zoo parking is... a zoo... you go find your new dinosaur museum... although we still miss our #houstonmuseumofnaturalscience. The #fernbankmuseumofnaturalhistory has a cool stegosaurus to eat a snack next to! The colossal size of my tiny kids in the impressive entry hall dinosaur was just cool. Docents on hand to show us fossils in the limestone tiles and y’all us through touchable rocks, extinct dinosaur age animal exhibits, types of rocks, and Georgia natural history animals brought lots of questions up and gave us new info to ponder. Gas money and memberships to museums and zoos... best curriculum out there for these kids. We did our #classicalconversations memory work in the car along with Narnia on audiobook. So many boxes got checked and not a book was opened ;)
