Reclaiming Wonders

Meet Ada Byron Lovelace... aka the friend of Charles Babbage with whole she worked to invent the first computer. That’s the best I can say about the play last night... we met her... historically fictionally speaking. We also met modern theater weirdness that I could have done without... there might be hope for the play elsewhere, but not small college students... I really tried to get my girls to leave at intermission ;) but they wouldn’t! But, we left talking about the Crystal Palace, Prince Albert’s Great Exhibition, and how women had limited options in marriage and education back in Victoria’s time. So there’s that...
