Comparing Lincoln and Kennedy: A Presidential Picture Book

The second time was even better than the first with this presidential book. As we wrap up our Lincoln and Civil War and Underground Railroad picture books, coming back to this book was a great review. . . And a great segue into my stack of Kennedy books I have waiting. I must say, this nerd mom is excited. I am over the months and months of Civil War era books we have been reading. Need something fresh! . . We all loved this book, and I can’t believe I haven’t talked about it. I even searched because I thought I had! . . There is so much history built in that you will do a review with your kids every page. . . And if anyone can find me good kid picture books that cover past the 1960s I’m all ears!! I need more modern history and can’t find pretty books!
