The Atlanta History Center brought us the kids’ favorite cyclorama display of the Civil War in Atlanta, women’s rights, Jim Crow, Buffalo soldiers, the Emancipation Proclamation, Susan B. Anthony, and Frederick Douglass. And I had to explain to the kids why men would dress up in stupid costumes (KKK) to be mean to people who look differently than they did...

Now I’m a member because it was only $30 more than a one day visit. Big family perk ;) Here’s to next time and making history even more memorable.
