Reclaiming Wonders
The image is divided into two parts. On the left side, a rustic wooden bat house stands in an overgrown field surrounded by tall grasses and bushes. The bat house is a simple triangular structure with a white metal roof and open slats for bats to enter and exit. In the background, trees and vegetation can be seen, suggesting a natural, outdoor setting. On the right side of the image, a sky fills the frame, with a scattered swarm of bats visible, appearing as small dark dots against the blue expanse. The bats seem to be emerging from or returning to the bat house, creating a striking visual contrast between the stationary structure and the dynamic movement of the flying creatures.

Bat House at University of Florida

That is a bat house at the u of Florida and where we hung out for thirty minutes last night waiting for the emergence of the 400,000 of them. Pretty cool. Heard the chirping and smelled the tiny pee drops in the air and possibly on some of or clothes ;) bats have come up several times on our trip including the giant ones at Animal Kingdom so this was a fun tie in!
