Reclaiming Wonders

Apple Picking Season in Georgia Ending Soon

Only month left! Apple picking in Georgia ends mid-October, so time’s a tickin’! To avoid the weekend crowds, our family headed to B.J. Reece Orchards kid-week, and this was the mid-week crowd, I can’t imagine the weekends! Totally worth it though ❤️ 🍎Pay the orchard entrance fee per person 🍎Decide how many bags of apples you need 🍎Go pet a goat, bunny, or pig 🍎Race Dad down the tube slide 🍎Find the ripe area of the apple orchard 🍎Spread out for picking and try to stop when your bags are full! 🍎 Enjoy fresh apple donuts and farm stand treats at the farm store 🍎Have a picnic outside at the tables The Georgia mountain drive is lovely, you get outside, you play with some animals, and you might just eat a fresh apple before you leave the orchard. But don’t tell them I told you. 😉 Go apple picking - It’s fall agritourism at its finest. Hurry up! 👉What’s your favorite “picking” to do with your family? We definitely liked apple picking more than peaches!
