Wholesome Rescue Mission in Costa Rica

When was the last time you heard a story that absolutely blew your mind? (Save this post for your trip to Costa Rica!) I heard a pretty dang good one last week and I wanted to share it with you all! I spent a few days at @animalloverescue in Costa Rica hearing from a group of 15 friends how they all left their home country and moved to the jungle to help animals in any and every way they could! AND they brought 17 animals with them Since then they have grown their rescue to well over 800 animals! 🤯 This no kill shelter that they have built is home for dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, geese, etc. You name it and I’m sure they’ve got it, but the best part is the care they put into helping each and every single one of these animals. We heard stories about dogs with cancer, cats being left in bags, turkeys with owners who couldn’t care for them anymore, and a million other unique cases but not a single one of them was left to succumb to their illness or situation. They have all been accepted with open arms and cared for beyond belief! Watching so many friends come together to build something so beautiful definitely opened my mind up a little bit more to what is possible in the world if you just lead with love ❤️ Support these animals by staying at their resort (yes you read that right but more on that later) on your travels through Costa Rica or donate from home (link in my bio!)
