Nikki Tomlin
A young woman with long blonde hair is standing in a desert landscape, with rugged mountains and an azure sky in the background. She is wearing a sleeveless black top that exposes her shoulders, paired with a flowing red maxi skirt that billows elegantly around her legs. The vibrant crimson hue of the skirt contrasts strikingly against the sandy tones of the desert environment. Her stance is relaxed, with one hand resting on her hip, exuding confidence and poise. The image captures a sense of natural beauty and grace, harmoniously blending the subject's fashion-forward look with the raw, untamed scenery.

Mirror Practice for Camera Confidence

Raise your hand if you’ve ever looked at others images on social media and thought ‘wow I want a photo of myself like that’ or ‘I could never look that good in front of a camera.’ 🙋🏼‍♀️ - Share this post to help your friends find confidence in front of the camera and save it for future reference for yourself! - Honestly, I’m pretty positive everyone has had those thoughts to some degree, including myself! So I am going to share with you the number one tip I tell people that come to me asking how I’m confident in front of the camera, along with what I tell my clients who are nervous about being in front of the camera. - It’s simple, practice in front of the mirror. - No seriously, whether it’s a hand on hip pose, a moody stare, or a delicate position to model a flowy dress, stand in front of that mirror and practice. - And here is a little bonus tip. If you don’t know where to start, find some inspiration online from the people you follow and try to mimic their poses and go from there with what looks best with your body type, outfit, makeup or no makeup, etc. But keep in mind, you are supposed to look like you, not someone else! - I challenge you to practice in the mirror this week and if you feel confident enough snap a quick photo, share it, and tag me in it! 😁 • • • • • •
