A young woman with long, flowing hair stands in front of a breathtaking natural landscape. Behind her, majestic green mountains rise majestically, their peaks illuminated by the warm glow of the setting sun. In the foreground, a serene lake reflects the mountains and the vibrant colors of the sky. A vibrant rainbow arcs across the sky, adding an ethereal and magical touch to the already stunning scene. The woman has her hands on her head, seemingly in awe of the natural beauty that surrounds her. Her casual attire and relaxed pose suggest a sense of freedom and enjoyment of the great outdoors.

Overcoming Solo Travel Fears

How did you get past your fears of traveling solo? I get this question all the time so let’s break down a few thoughts that can hopefully get you out there too 👇🏻 Simply put, I was influenced and I lived in the feeling of being influenced. I watched other solo travelers and always thought to myself “ok other people are doing it, why can’t I?” And I lived in the comfortability of knowing that others were doing it instead of living in the fear. It feels a little bit like “what would xxx do?” I ALWAYS think about the women who live in the areas and walk in the streets that I want to explore everyday and how if they do it everyday why can’t I join them for a while? I let the FOMO fuel me. 😅 I don’t want to wake up when I’m 80 listening to other 80 year olds talk about how much of the world they’ve seen and about their wild experiences along the way. I want to contribute to those conversations! What is your biggest fear or hesitation about traveling solo?
