Making Friends as an Adult in Hawaii
Do you have a hard time making friends as adults?
(Save this post to remember you aren’t alone in the craziness that is adulthood)
I’ve received more than a few messages since arriving in Hawaii with questions like:
“Are you visiting friends?”
“How do you know so many people there?”
“How do you make so many friends?”
“How do you find people to travel/adventure with?”
And the list goes on!
I didn’t know anyone coming to this beautiful little island. I just booked the ticket and told myself ‘I’ll figure it out.’
And then I started messaging people on Instagram about meeting up once I was there.
And then I hopped on the plane and told myself I would be a little more open to talking to people from here on out.
Essentially I told myself I was going to live the life of the people I wanted to attract, and it worked!
If you aren’t sure where to start, start with social media. You’re here reading this so why not start following accounts that inspire you to move closer to your dreams AND start messaging those people.
Respond to their stories, ask them questions, take in any and all information you can about the lifestyle you dream of and start living it.
That’s what I did and I still have more dreams to follow, but I started living the life I wanted and I attracted so much more!
I have learned that living your dreams and making new friends as an adult comes hand in hand.
What is your biggest dream in life? Don’t be afraid to share! I won’t judge and it’s time you start speaking it into the world and surrounding yourself with people who have similar goals!
