Fall Foliage in Colorado: A Guide to Chasing Autumn Colors

COLORADO FALL COLORS GUIDE (Save this for next years fall adventures!) It changes every year so good luck! 🍀 Lol I’m kidding, but only kind of! Last year by this time we were colorless. The leaf change came and went in what felt like 24 hours and the cold coooold temps came rolling in quick! Colorado is 100% a wild card when it comes to predicting the color change. Quite literally every single projection map I’ve looked at for this year has been wrong. Your best bet in getting here and seeing fall colors is to watch social media. Find your favorite Colorado influencers and watch when the colors start rolling in! Obviously, if you have to fly in than I would say aiming for mid-late September is going to be the best time to book. And be sure to book a ticket that allows for flight changes at no cost so if the changes roll in quick or gradual, like this year, you can adjust accordingly. Have you been to Colorado during fall?
