A breathtaking and idyllic tropical paradise is captured in this image. Two small, rocky islets rise majestically from the vibrant turquoise waters of the Pacific Ocean, their rugged silhouettes contrasting with the serene azure hues that surround them. Closer to the viewer, a crescent-shaped beach of golden sand fringes the coastline, inviting with its pristine allure. Towering coconut palms sway gently in the ocean breeze, their verdant fronds providing dappled shade over the sandy expanse. A solitary figure, dwarfed by the grandeur of the natural surroundings, strolls along the shoreline, perhaps savoring the tranquility of this earthly eden. The sky above is a canvas of wispy clouds against a brilliant blue backdrop, perfectly complementing the vibrant colors of the sea and land below.

The Reality of Pursuing Your Passion

When did we get the notion that we have to love everything all the time? - We’re constantly fed this narrative of “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” or quit your job and do what you love. Well you may not love what you do, but I’m sure you love being able to turn some lights on so don’t quit so fast. - A lot of people look at what I do for a living and are immediately either 1. Confused 2. Jealous or 3. Think I’m getting paid by my parents. I don’t expect you to understand what I do just like you shouldn’t expect me to understand what you do, but the difference is that my job is very public and people are curious. - So that being said, I am incredible blessed and grateful to mostly do what I love for a living but there’s also a lot of things that I do that I don’t necessarily enjoy but have to do to keep the lights on. I’m gonna list a few not with the intent to complain, but with the intent to give perspective and show that not everything is palm trees and blue water lol. - Typically about 1/10th of my time is spent shooting/adventuring. The rest is spent sending emails, sending proposals, following up with people 5 times, getting told no, sending invoices, writing contracts, editing photos/videos, following up more, getting told no more, creating ads, brainstorming different business ideas and so on. When you break it down it sounds a lot like a normal job lol. - Do I love doing all that, no. But I have to to do what I love for the other 10% of the time. Doing what you love should not be the end goal. It can be but there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a regular job and not traveling all over the world and don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. - You don’t have to love doing everything all the time but you do have to do some things so you can do what you love more often. - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙 - • • • • • • #hawaii #passionpassport #nakedhawaii #eclectic_shotz #earthfocus #sunset #adventureculture #nature #earthpix #neverstopexploring #stayandwander #travel #awesomeearth #旅行 #sonyalpha #soft_vision #roamtheplanet #beautifuldestinations #bestvacations #ourplanetdaily #景色 #travelstoke #自然
