The Importance of Authenticity and Humility

We live in an age where everything is staged and all we do is fake our feelings. - Everyone has expectations of them that they can’t always reach so they fake it till they make it cause these days it doesn’t matter if you’ve made it as long as people think you have. It doesn’t matter if you meant it as long as people think you did. There’s so much emphasis on appearance and not enough emphasis on genuine humility and the ability to admit you don’t have it all figured out. - It’s really quite toxic and always eventually backfires. Lies and facades are exposed in time but humility is always rewarded. It’s definitely tough once you’ve built an image, and I’m not just talking online, everybody builds an image of their ideal person, but sometimes it’s taken too far to the point where the person they’re pretending to be doesn’t even resemble the real them at all. - Ditch the lies. The facades. The illusions. And the ego and approach life from a perspective of humility. You may lose some friends but we’re they really ever your friend anyway? Idk about you, but I’d take 1 real friend over 100 fake shallow friends any day of the week. Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙 • • • • • •
