This is the exact blueprint I use to get PAID to travel and shoot for resorts and brands around the world. ✅ Be good at a skill. For me it’s photo and video ✅ Find brands and resorts in need of your skill set. Notice I didn’t say ones you want to work with but ones that actually need you. ✅ Send an email to the decision maker and show them how your skill set helps them with a business need ✅ Get them on a call and widen the gap between the loss their experiencing by not working with you and the dream outcome they will achieve after doing so. ✅ Introduce your content as the solution (brand bridge) to their problem ✅ Be confident in your pricing and say it on the call ✅ Do the shoot. Impress the client. Ask for a review and repeat. It’s not too difficult once you know the blueprint. Notice I didn’t say anything about going viral, growing a following, or doing endless free shoots. Those things aren’t bad, but if you want to get paid like a production company you have to start operating like a production company operates.
