How to Scale Your Business as a Freelancer or Small Business Owner
Are you a freelancer or a business owner👇
I think a lot of times we think of scaling as something that would be nice once we’re ready, but when you switch you perspective, you actually realize that not knowing how to scale costs you thousands of dollars and hours of your time every single month.
In the example I gave in the video, you would be missing out on $9,000/mo which is over $100k/yr just because you don’t know how to scale your business effectively. And that’s just by raising your prices.
Imagine the difference once you attract better clients, add more value to your offer, make a scalable system, and build teams and automations. The sky is the limit!
Believe it or not, the difference between a $10k client and $1k client is not all that much. The main difference is in how you present your value. It’s always easier to pitch new clients new rates then to convince an old client to pay you more. That being said, the first step of scaling always has to be firing your clients that take too much time and don’t pay enough.
The problem is, we get attached to these less than ideal clients because they are essentially our lifeline for survival. The minute we lose them we feel like we’re out of business. But the very clients we feel are our life jackets are the ones that are anchoring us down and preventing us from progressing by sucking up our time and attention.
That’s a scary place to be, and a place I realized I didn’t ever want to be in again. I had to find a way out and that’s why I share what I share.
