Don't Devalue Your Worth for Temporary Gains

When you devalue yourself for a moment you limit your opportunities for the future. - Let me explain... in the field I work in, it is extremely common for companies and clients to want work for free or very cheap. Now I’m all for going to the school of hard knocks and knocking out a few free or cheap gigs with the intention of getting resume material to later charge full price. What I’m not ok with is always working for “exposure” because after a certain point you are really just working for free and word gets around that you’re the cheap guy, limiting your opportunity in the future. - The same concept applies in most aspects of life... Sex, relationships, jobs, friends. People ask me why I have such high standards like it’s a bad thing. News flash, having standards may limit you in the short run, but sets you up for way better opportunities in the future. If you have big goals, you need to have standards that match those goals to keep yourself disciplined, otherwise you’ll run off track real quick. - Don’t devalue your worth for anything or anybody. Your future is too bright to be compromised. - Be blessed and stay stoked😎🤙 - • • • • • •
