A towering sandstone arch formation stands prominently in a desert landscape under a striking blue sky with wisps of clouds. The arch, formed by natural erosion over time, displays a curved and sculpted shape reminiscent of a delicate bridge or gateway. The red-orange hues of the sandstone contrast beautifully against the azure sky, creating a breathtaking scene. The arch appears to be the main focal point, with the surrounding desert terrain stretching out behind it, adding depth and context to the image.

Beware the Escape that Enslaves

Be careful that what you escape to doesn’t become what you’re enslaved by. - What’s your escape? There’s so many out there but I’m gonna use the phone as an example. Have you ever found yourself scrolling and not even realizing what you’re looking at. You’re totally oblivious to what’s on the screen and scrolling by habit. Or the one where you sit down and immediately take out your phone. I catch myself multiple times throughout the day doing that for absolutely no reason. - So why do we do it? I think it’s an escape. We are uncomfortable with sitting in silence or being alone with ourselves, so we try to preoccupy the time with something. Now this isn’t inherently bad, but it could lead to you having difficulties being completely present in the moment and always thinking about something else. I for one have to mentally force myself not to take out the phone in awkward silent situations sometimes just so I don’t get into a deeper habit than I already have. - Make sure the tunnel your escaping through doesn’t collapse and become a trap. Escapes are made to be enticing and even rewarding in the beginning but with time the shackles begin to appear escape becomes harder and harder. Don’t let that happen to you. - Be blessed and stay stoked 😎🤙
