A young woman with long, flowing brown hair is sitting on the ground with her legs stretched out in front of her, while her arms are outstretched to the sides. She is wearing sunglasses, a gray sweatshirt, and denim shorts. The woman has a broad, joyful smile on her face, conveying a sense of freedom and happiness. The breathtaking scenery behind her features a turquoise lake surrounded by towering, snow-capped mountains. The landscape appears to be in a remote, serene location, possibly a national park or wilderness area.

Growing Confidence with Age

The gorgeous thing about “growing up” is growing confidence in what your’e capable of. I used to spend so much time worrying about falling, breaking, not being “good enough,” not being liked or loved, failing, and even succeeding. The wiser you grow with years, you know that when you fall, you can get up, because you have so many times in the past. When you fail, its beautiful, because it shows you’re still trying. Still learning and still growing and can find lessons in the attempt that will help you make and take the shot that counts. I’m about to have another birthday and I love this photo because its a great representation of how I feel as of late. Where once was worry and insecurity, now lives boldness, freedom, audaciousness, and joy time has provided. Cheers to gracefully growing older, new and next chapters, and living a life you’re proud of by replacing fears and worry with living in possibility. How good is “good enough?” It’s “this much.” 😉
