A picturesque scene at sunset or sunrise captures a serene camping setup overlooking a tranquil lake surrounded by mountains in the distance. A vintage camper van or Jeep-like vehicle is parked near the edge, offering a cozy respite for adventurers seeking solitude and connection with nature. Adjacent to the vehicle, a compact camping setup features a small tent, camp chairs, and a side table, creating a minimalist yet inviting basecamp. The soothing blue hues of the lake's surface reflect the warm, golden tones of the sky, painting a breathtaking backdrop for this peaceful outdoor retreat.

Gearing Up for Southwestern Adventure

“Sometimes you just need an adventure to cleanse the bitter taste of life from your soul.” - Unknown Jeep is in the shop after the break-in/theft and I’m gearing up and planning for life on the road again in the coming weeks. Heading southwest for another dose of sun, climbing, canyoneering and adventure time. for those that ponder if I’m running away from my life (I’ve been asked that A LOT 🧐lol), I used to live and work in UT, AZ, AK, CA, OR, and now WA… so returning to these areas, for me, is going home and I’ve grown to know and love these places intimately over the years. Returning feels like “growing deeper roots” in these former homes. Maybe I am running away from the rain though lol. What are some gear/ road trip/ travel / western US / planning etc. questions I can answer for you in the coming weeks to help you get out on your next adventure? Would love to give you use of my extensive knowledge on travel and the travel industry to help take the work out of your travel planning. - put questions below or DM me and I’ll put together answers in the coming weeks. Also, if you love camping, road tripping etc and are looking for gifts for the fellow adventurer in your life, check out @barebonesliving for your one stop solution for gifts they’ll never want to travel without. Their camping, foraging and cooking gear has inspired my trips with pieces that are elegant, durable, and quality. Some of my pieces were stolen in the break in and I’m so in love, I’ll be repurchasing them because they’re worth it and bring me so much comfort while on the go. Check them out. if anyone has tips on better securing Jeeps for gear… hit me up - I need help. its like a fishbowl and this break-in has me feeling a little insecure about safety traveling with so much stuff.
