A watermelon has been carved to resemble a fearsome shark, complete with a gaping mouth filled with sharp, triangular teeth meticulously carved from the green rind. The body of the watermelon forms the shark's head and upper body, while a missing wedge creates the open maw. Two blueberries mounted on toothpicks serve as the shark's beady eyes, adding a whimsical touch to the otherwise menacing visage. The vibrant green hue of the watermelon rind contrasts strikingly against the deep red flesh exposed within the shark's mouth cavity. This creative and playful fruit sculpture appears to be a festive project inspired by Shark Week, providing a delightful and edible twist on the aquatic predator.
