A young woman with long, dark hair is walking up an ornate wooden staircase in what appears to be a grand, historic building. The staircase is flanked by intricately carved handrails and decorated with vibrant fuchsia orchids in large planters. The walls and pillars are painted in a light, soothing color, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The woman is casually dressed in shorts and a top, carrying a laptop bag, suggesting she is a visitor or traveler exploring this elegant location.

Walking up to 2020 with some confidence. Took two weeks (mostly) off IG and other feeds to finish up some projects, and spend some time with friends and family in NY. And taking time off socials might be the most #SanitySunday thing ever. •• One thing I achieved this week: signed a contract for a writing gig I LOVE. •• One thing I failed at: missed some deadlines because my mind and body were WIPED at the end of the year. •• Travel comes with a lot of hiccups. Case in point, I am now in Argentina while my beautifully packed suitcase is in Panama. And I don’t have a definitive time/date of return yet. But I’m focusing on just exploring around, catching up with an old friend I’m visiting here, and making the best of a no clothes, no make up situation. At least it happened while I’m visiting a similarly sized friend I can borrow clothes and shoes from. •• This photo was taken during an 11-hour layover in Panama City. Learned a lot of interesting things about the city, will share more tomorrow! . . . . .
