You may be wondering what in the world is going on in this picture. This is an old Catalan tradition of building human towers, or “Castells”.

These towers can reach up to ten stories high - just people standing on top of people. Teams known as colles compete to see who can construct and deconstruct the tallest tower without a fall.
••
And really, any time you manage to avoid falling from 10 stories high, it’s a win of a day.
